Seven members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), who were detained in İstanbul on Friday (July 29) were referred to the courthouse today.
Giving statements to the police yesterday, the detained were accused of "being a member of a terrorist organization" because of their political activities and phone records, the Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reported.
Four people who were detained in the same investigation Muğla and Van will give statements to the prosecutors via videoconference.
The four people, including members of the HDP Youth Assemblies and district executives, were detained during police raids in the early hours of Friday.
The detainees were identified as HDP Party Assembly member Livan Orman, Beşiktaş District Co-Chair Oran Özöner, Arjin Emektar, Ahmet Bayazıt, Roj Medrin Bor, Mehmet Salih Dikmen and İsmail Toptamur.
The police imposed a 24-hour lawyer restriction on the detained and their detention period was extended for four days. (TY/VK)
