Emine Şenyaşar lost her spouse and two sons in an attack by the security guards and relatives of İbrahim Halil Yıldız from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Urfa. She and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have been demanding justice for six months now.
Keeping a justice watch in front of the Urfa courthouse for 191 days as of today (September 15), the mother and son came to the "Şenyaşar Family Justice Corder" in front of the courthouse early in the morning and started their justice watch, carrying a banner of "We only want justice".
Sharing a message about today's protest on their social media account, the family have said, "We are unfortunately not powerful enough to prevent this injustice in front of the courthouse on our own. This injustice is inflicted on the entire society in the person of the mother. The Ministry of Justice is a mere onlooker. An order without justice is doomed to perish."

New footage has emerged
As reported by Emrullah Acar from the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), new footage of the armed attack that was carried out by the relatives of the AKP MP and claimed the lives of 3 people from the Şenyaşar family has been revealed. It has turned out that a person who attacked the Şenyaşar family's shop with a kalashnikov rifle has not been added to the file.
Sharing this news on their social media account, the family have written, "1) The Interior Minister speaks to the press and says, 'There is no long barreled weapon in the attack.' 2) Then, the father goes to the hospital. They massacred the father by lynching him at the hospital. 3) The mother in front of the courthouse faces 4 years in prison for demanding justice..."

What happened?
During the election campaign of ruling AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in Suruç, Urfa on June 14, 2018, an attack turned into an armed conflict, which claimed the lives of Yıldız's brother Mehmet Şah Yıldız, shop owner Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and his sons Adil and Celal Şenyaşar.
Having lost his father and two brothers and been wounded himself in the incident, Fadıl Şenyaşar was discharged from hospital and detained on June 17. He was then arrested and sent to prison.
Demanding justice for two sons, husband and her arrested son, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have been keeping a "justice watch" in front of the courthouse. (EMK/SD)
