Ali Erdin Demirhan, editor of sendika.org news website was taken into custody this morning (April 20).
Police raiding the office of sendika.org this morning at 5.45, took Demirhan into custody on charges of "organizing protests on social media accounts in attempt to make the referendum results look illegitimate", "inciting people to hatred and hostility" as well as "insulting an official in performing her/his duty.
Police have searched the apartment of Demirhan and seized his computer and cell phone.
Demirhan has been taken to Esenler Atışalanı Police Department.
