A security meeting headed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu is decided to be held following the explosion which has left 10 people dead, 15 others wounded.
State-run Anadolu Agency citing Prime Ministry has reported that the meeting will be held at Çankaya Mansion.

Vice Prime Minister, Numan Kurtulmuş, Minister of Interior, Efkan Ala, Minister of Health, Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Feridun Sinirlioğlu, National Intelligence Agency Undersecretary, Hakan Fidan, and Security General Director Celalettin Lekesiz will attend the meeting.

Deutsche Welle reported that German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on its citizens in İstanbul to stay away from crowded areas and touristic regions.
U.S. Ambassador to Ankara, John Bass too made a statement as to the explosion. “Closely following reports of an explosion in Sultanahmet”.
