'Mobile teaching is a result'
Speaking to bianet about six months ago following a deadly school bus accident, Students' Parents Association Chair Ömer Yılmaz said that "mobile teaching is a result and what is important is to open village schools again and to appoint teachers to work in those schools".
Yılmaz defined it as a "big problem" that schools in rural areas have been closed and children go to central places as part of mobile teaching. Raising concerns about the lack of control in school busses in mobile teaching, he noted that the lack of inspections leads to accidents and deaths." (AÖ/SD)
