Sabah newspaper laid off its prominent columnist Nazlı Ilıcak.
“In a sentence…I can say that I lost my job instead of character. I thank God that it didn’t put me on astray,” Ilıcak wrote on twitter.
She also told Odatv that she was laid off by the newspaper due to “editorial disagreements”.
“It is true that Sabah newspaper laid me off. As of today, all my affiliation with Sabah is over.
“Newspaper administration thinks that we have huge editorial disagreements.
“With its headlines, Sabah newspaper was having an attitude completely different than mine. I think this was a factor in my layoff process.
“I am not experiencing this for the first time in my life. I have lived this before." (YY/BM)
