Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov has claimed that weapons were being transmitted to terrorist organizations in Syria through the Turkish border.
“Supporting the terrorist from outside should be prevented. For this purpose, the Syrian border to Turkey should be closed because weapons are being sent over to the militants through these and this is being already done by means of humanitarian aid convoys”.
Talking at a meeting in Geneva, Lavrov in reference to Cumhuriyet daily Chief Editor Can Dündar and its Ankara representative Erdem Gül have noted; “And journalists unclosing this are being put on trial”.
Assad: We don’t answer back to truce breaches but there is a limit
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has talked to the German ARD channel;
Assad saying “We will do our part to make the agreement work”, has pointed out that the truce was a glimmer of hope for all Syria.
Assad has also expressed that Syrian army did not answer back to the breaches of truce but there had been a line and it was up to the other party where this line would be drawn.

Kerry: Violations will be investigated
On the press conference held after his meeting with German Minister of Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Kerry had also noted that the truce in effect since weekend, had not been under danger despite clashes which have been reported and that breaches would be investigated.
Kerry has added, that he and Russian FM Lavrov had agreed on developing a mechanism to limit all attacks on ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and Al-Nusra which are excluded from the truce”. (YY/DG)
