A rocket launched from the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) held territory in Syria hit Kilis today (April 19).
The rocket launched from Syria has hit the roof of a house in Helvacıoğlu neighbourhood. The woods on the roof of the house has caught fire and the fire-fighter teams have responded to the fire.
Approximately five minutes after the incident, two other rockets have been launched from Syria again one of which has hit the restroom of Bilal Habeşi Mosque in the same neighbourhood and the other fell on the vacant land near Kilis Cemetery.
Kilis Mayor Hasan Kara has declared that three persons have been injured due to the rocket projectiles hitting the town center of Kilis.
Yesterday (April 19) five persons four of whom were children had lost their lives due to rocket launched from the ISIS held territory in Syria hit Kilis.

Municipality worker Mehmet Hanifi Sağlam (48) wounded by the rocket fired yesterday on Kilis, has lost his life in Kilis State Hospital where he was taken for treatment. Another municipality worker had died in the morning hours.
12 people wounded by the five Katyusha rockets dropping on Kilis on April 11.
Two rockets launched on Kilis from ISIS-held territory in Syrian on April 7, which left three wounded.
The number of people killed in rocket attacks from ISIS territory has reached 11.
