Two soldiers have lost their lives, one other has been wounded in an attack launched by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members in Turkey’s southeastern district of Hakkari.
In its statement released on its website, Hakkari Governorship announced that the attack was carried out against the military vehicles that were driving down from Harkabirim Tepe Üs Region in Uzundere village in district of Çukurca.
It was stated that two soldiers lost their lives, one soldier was injured in the attack which was reportedly carried out with rocket launcher.
Three soldiers lost their lives yesterday
One soldier lost his life, two others were wounded in an explosion by an improvised explosive device, which was planted by the PKK members, being detonated in Turkey’s southeastern district of Eruh, Siirt.
Another report of attack came from Şırnak.
According to a statement made by the Turkish Armed Forces, two soldiers lost their lives and three others were wounded in an explosion by an improvised explosive device being detonated during the operations run in Şırnak rural. (EKN/TK)
