İstanbul Security Directorate Anti-Terror Department units carried out a raid on the Yürüyüş Magazine located in Gazi neighbourhood in Sultangazi district of İstanbul towards this morning (April 26).
People's Law Office has stated that Tahsin Sağaltıcı, Mehmet M. Doğanay, Hasan Farsak, Hüseyin Teke and Selda Bulut from the Yürüyüş Magazine were taken into custody. No official information has been announced yet regarding the operation and the detentions.
According to the report of Hakan Kaya and Soner Hasırcıoğlu's report from Doğan News Agency (DHA), a police helicopter and firefighter units as well as riot police and special operation units supported the operation which started at about 2 a.m. this morning.
Trying to enter the building through a ladder of a fire brigade truck, police units have cut the the iron bars of the balcony and searched the office of the magazine. (AS/DG)
