After stumbling upon a fox cub in Dersim, southeastern Turkey, locals promptly alerted the provincial branch of the Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP), Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
Responding swiftly to the call, DKMP personnel arrived at the scene and safely transported the young animal to their branch office in the city center.
Ensuring the cub's well-being, a specially designed den was prepared to provide a comfortable sanctuary for the rescued fox.
According to DKMP officials, the fox cub is receiving proper care, including scheduled feedings of milk. Additionally, the team is taking the opportunity to introduce the cub to open areas, fostering a connection with the natural environment.
Once the fox cub has completed its necessary rehabilitation and gains the ability to thrive independently, it will be reintroduced into its natural habitat, allowing it to roam freely in the wild once again. (TY/VK)
