Yesterday (November 30), Justice and Development Party (AKP) MPs rejected the request to establish a parliamentary commission put into vote, that would investigate the claims that President and AKP Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's family members transferred money abroad to evade taxes in Turkey.
On November 28, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Chair of the main opposition party Republican People's Party (CHP) had shared the swift codes and transfer receipts of 13 million 750 thousand dollars sent by President Erdoğan's brother, son, brother-in-law, executive assistant to Isle of Man with public. On the next day, the party requested to establish a parliamentary commission to investigate the claims of tax evasion by Erdoğan's family members.
President Eroğan commenting on the documents and tax evasion claims yesterday, urged Kılıçdaroğlu to deliver the documents to the Prosecutor's Office and said "If you say that you possess all the documents, stop waving them at the stand. Share them with our people, go to the Prosecutor's Office and hand them over". Erdoğan also denied that Mustafa Gündoğan, who was also mentioned in the documents, was his executive assistant as claimed by Kılıçdaroğlu.
Yesterday evening, Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the revealed Isle of Man documents and asked the documents to be handed over.
AKP had rejected HDP's investigation commission request earlier as well
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Group Vice Chair and İstanbul MP Filiz Kerestecioğlu also requested from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to investigate the Isle of Man documents revealed by Kılıçdaroğlu.
The request was put into vote and was rejected by the votes of AKP MPs.

On November 28, at CHP group meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu had shared the swift codes and transfer receipts of 13 million 750 thousand dollars sent by Erdoğan's brother, son, brother-in-law, principal clerk to Isle of Man with public on November 28.

In the wake of CHP Leader Kılıçdaroğlu revealing the documents concerning Erdoğan's family members transferring 15 million dollars to the Isle of Man, initial reactions came from AKP group deputy chairs Bostancı and Turan.
Speaking to Sputnik News, AKP Group Deputy Chair Naci Bostancı said "He is shaking some documents, we don't know what they are". Another AKP Group Deputy Chair Bülent Turan interviewing to A Haber (A News) said that Kılıçdaroğlu presented an official transaction as a document and urged him to resign.

Vice Prime Minister and Spokesperson for Government Bekir Bozdağ said "Everything Kılıçdaroğlu said about our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his family and acquaintances is a lie, slander" and "neither our Mr. President nor his family has any money abroad".
