A reporter for daily BirGün was prevented from filming Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum while he was talking to locals in the fire-hit province of Muğla.
While reporter Sarya Toprak was filming the minister, police officers told him to turn off his camera. As he refused to do so, Minister Kurum said, "Even if you are a journalist, you can't shoot a video here,"
The reporter was later forced out of the area by police officers.
