Religion Class Increased to 2 Hours a Week in New Semester

Board of Education in the Ministry of National Education has released Secondary Education Weekly Course Schedules.

Religion and ethics class will be increased from one to two hours at science high school and Anatolian high schools during the semester of 2017-2018.

The changes made in the course hours are as follows:

- Biology class will be decreased to two hours from three at 9th and 10th grades.

- Science class, which is two hours per week at 11th grade, will be two hours at both 10th and 11th grades.

- Visual arts and music class will be increased to two hours from one.

- Foreign language class, which is four hours a week at 9th grade at the Anatolian high schools, will be reduced to four hours. (YY/TK)
