Raşit Tükel, Taner Gören from Turkish Medical Association Reinstated to Their Jobs

Suspended by İstanbul University President for having been detained as part of the operation launched against the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), Central Council Chair Prof. Dr. Raşit Tükel and Central Council member Prof. Dr. Taner Gören have been reinstated to their jobs.

Underlining the university presidency's decision to suspend Tükel and Gören for three months on January 30, 2018 due to the detention, the statement released on TTB's website read:

"With the university correcting its mistake made based on an unjust detention, Dr. Tükel and Dr. Gören will continue their missions of being doctor and lecturer for their students, assistants and patients". (EKN/TK)
