Four academics, two journalists will stand trial in two hearing rooms in İstanbul Courthouse on April 22. The campaign #RaiseYourPenForFreedom has been launched for solidarity.

Four academics, two journalists to be tried
Four academics Assist. Prof. Dr. Esra Mungan, Assist. Prof. Dr. Meral Camcı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Kaya, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kıvanç Ersoy being tried over “terror propaganda” for signing the declaration entitled “We will not be a party to this crime” will appear before judge for the first time.
Hearing of the trial of Cumhuriyet daily’s Editor-in-Chief Can Dündar and its Ankara representative, Erdem Gül whom are being tried over the report on National Intelligence Agency (MİT) trucks will continue.
“Metris University” sustains to launch campaigns against the arrests
“Metris University” formation founded to support the arrested academics goes on launching campaigns in protest of the arrests.
For the hearings to be held on April 22, they are calling for the “Grand Justice Feast organized by Metris University Faculty of Law”. (BK/TK)
