About Queer Olympix
Organizers describe Queer Olympix as follows:
"Being LGBTI+ and woman forces us necessarily to learn some kind of maneuvers, self-defense techniques, and various strategies as we make use of the city. We, as women and LGBTI+ individuals who have been playing football in different fields, asked ourselves if we could re-create the crowds we yearn for, and if we could set up the sentence 'We do exist in public sphere!' through sports this time.
"A sports meeting where no discrimination or hate speech is allowed; where any body and any gender can play and enjoy the games; where passes are distributed equally in creative team plays!". (ÇT/TK)
