Military Court of Cessation Chamber Council came to the conclusion that an alleged soldier committed a “disobedience to orders” sharing a photo with military uniform on Facebook without commander consent would commit - an act punishable by three months to two years of prison.
According to Hürriyet newspaper, Military Court of Cessation Prosecutors initiated the process by object a ruling by Military Court of Cessation 1st Penal Chamber.
The following article imposes the prison sentence for the act:
“Those soldiers who do not follow orders related to a task; or those soldiers who either verbally or physically decline the order overtly or do not complete an order despite repeated are punishable with three months to two years of prison”. (BK/BM)
