Production has begun in New York on Tolga Karacelik's fourth feature film, and his first one to be shot in English. The film will cast Steve Buscemi, Britt Lower and John Magaro from the US.
The black comedy will reflect on the friendship of a writer who is hesitant in the middle of a divorce, and a retired serial killer, who mentors the writer on his marriage during the day, and on the murders that he is writing about in his new book at nights.
We know Golden Globe winner Buscemi who will be the lead in the film for his roles in "Rezervoir Dogs", "Fargo", "The Big Lebowski", "The Death of Stalin", "The Sopranos", and "30 Rock."
The film is produced by Sinan Eczacıbaşı, Scott Aharoni and Mustafa Kaymak under Cinegryphon Entertainment, Olive Productions of Wren Arthur and Steve Buscemi, plus Alihan Yalçındağ's May Productions, Tolga Karaçelik and Alex Peace Power.
The line producers will be Britt Lower, John Magaro and Kanat Doğramacı (Asteros Film), CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group will be handling the international rights for the film while the cinematographer will be Natalie Kingston. (AS/PE)
