İsmail Çataklı, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, has made a statement about the number of people who have faced legal and administrative action relating to novel coronavirus (COVID-19) measures.
According to the statement of the Spokesperson, a legal and/or administrative action has been taken against 496 thousand 841 people for not abiding by the COVID-19 measures and restrictions in this period.
While 520 of 1,152 social media users who posted "provocative" coronavirus posts were detained, 11 of them have been arrested.
Sharing information about the people who sold goods at extreme prices in the period of pandemic, Çataklı has announced that a judicial and/or administrative action has been taken against 601 people as a result of these operations and seven of them have been arrested. (TP/SD)
