Presidential Archive Chairperson Muhammed Safi tweeted a list of the artists who supported Ekrem İmamoğlu after the annulment of the city's municipal election which he won.
Sharing the picture of the hand-written lists consists of the names of the artists, Safi wrote, "The record," in his tweet.

After criticism, he switched to a "protected account," preventing those who do not follow him from seeing his tweets.
The Supreme Election Council (YSK) annulled İstanbul's local election on Monday (May 6) on the ground of "irregularities."
İmamoğlu at the same day called the artists and businesspeople to raise their voices, saying, "They say, 'Artists don't speak', they will. They say, 'Businesspeople don't speak', they will. Now, it is time to speak. You will see that everything will be fine."
Numerous artists and businesspeople than responded İmamoğlu's call, posint tweets under the hashtag #HerŞeyÇokGüzelOlacak (Everything will be fine), an expression that İmamoğlu turned into a slogan. The hashtag became a trend topic in Turkey and in the world.
The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu won the canceled election for İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality on March 31. The repeat election will be held on June 23.
