President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in his speech at the fast-breaking meal he attended at the Haliç Congress Center last night (June 12), stated that the operations will last “until peace and tranquility is restored”.
Erdoğan briefly said the following:
“Gezi Protests was very exhausting”
“Problems such as Gezi protests, December 17-25 coup attempt, actions of the separatist terror organization [PKK], two general elections coming one after another, developments in Syria, warplane crisis we went through with Russia were very tiring.
“Hopefully, we will slowly leave this period behind and advance towards our targets of 2023 with power”.
“Operations will persist”
“I am calling for the whole world and all my citizens watching me now. Our fight against terror, these operations will not stop until peace and tranquility is restored; everyone should know it like that.
“Our nation will not let a handful of looters squander away the peace and security environment which has been obtained at the cost of their children’s blood and life”.
$10 billion to the refugees in six years
Erdoğan said they have spent $10 billion in six years to the refugees.
“I wish we could provide a better service. I wish we could have them all live in containers rather than tents. If we achieve this, we will not lose but benefit”. (AS/TK)
