21-year-old Suat Şahin has been severely wounded by a police bullet in the Seyitler Neighborhood in Turkey's Kurdish-majority Batman province.
As reported by the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), Şahin was shot on the street yesterday (September 28) after he had allegedly resisted the body search of the police doing a criminal record check. In the neighborhood with civilian vehicles, the police shot Şahin in his leg and kidneys.

Wounding Şahin, the police took him to the back of the civilian vehicle and brought him to a private hospital in the city. His family was informed in the evening. Suat Şahin is in a critical condition. (AS/SD)
