İsmail Cem Halavurt, the attorney of US Pastor Andrew Craig Brunson, who was released from prison and placed under house arrest on July 25, previously appealed to the İzmir 2nd Heavy Penal Court, demanding that Brunson be released from house arrest and his international travel ban be overturned. The application of Halavut was rejected by the court on July 31.
