An operation was launched against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Şırnak province in southeastern Turkey and 13 people from 20 different addresses were detained.
The operation was performed by the gendarmerie and the police department.
7 suspects are wanted by the police.
What happened?
On September 13, at 6 a.m. a bombing attack was carried out against Police Control Point in Şırnak. Two policemen on duty died while five police officers got wounded.
According to the news of Hürriyet Daily, two PKK members were killed during clashed while Anadolu Agency stated 6 PKK members were killed in an air operation. (HK/BD)
