In 69 villages and hamlets in the districts of Lice and Kulp in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakır, curfew has been declared on the ground that an operation will be launched.
The indefinite curfew will be in force in 20 villages and 39 hamlets in the district of Lice and in seven villages and 13 hamlets in the district of Kulp.
Diyarbakır Governorship has announced on its official website that the curfew, which has been in force as of yesterday evening (April 26), includes the following villages and hamlets:
In the district of Lice, the villages of Yalımlı, Akçabudak, Ulucak, Kılıçlı, Yorulmaz, Güldiken, Baharlar, Üçdamlar, Yaprakköy and Yünlüce; the hamlets of Keşkuvari, Çiftlik, Leyhosor, Mahmutlu, Tahtakülek, Ballıca, Mahmudan, Yeniyazı, Hij, Gözeli, Dergan, Alıçlıyayla, Buban, Kaynaktaşı, Dokuzkat, Aliyan, Abdurrahmanağa, Aşağıhodik, Konuklu, Perpank, Yeşilburç, Kilimli, Gelberi, Bilgin, Hegogözer, Koçmarin, Mehmedil, Sağlık, Gönen, Hamzabey, Sıkas, Guçik, Eskiköy, Semezi, Yaka, Karaç, Kayadibi, Baverda and Kumumirza.
In the district of Kulp, the villages of Ağıllı, Akdoruk, Ağaçlı, Aşağıelmalı, Çağlayan, Kaynakköy and Karpuzlu; the hamlets of Ağıllı, Derecik, Harabe, Güldiken, Dirlik, Kefan, Yukarıelmalı, Deveboynu, Astal, Işıklar, Gümüşsuyu, Soğanlı and Çotuk.
Governorship has announced that an operation will be launched in these villages and hamlets and entrance to these areas as of April 25 at 11 p.m. have been forbidden.
