The Governorship of Diyarbakır has announced that an operation will be launched in Lice in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakır and a curfew has been declared in 19 villages and 54 hamlets in the district.
Referring to the Law no. 5442 on Provincial Administration in the statement published on its official website yesterday (November 7), the Governorship stated that the indefinite curfew would be in effect as of 6 p.m. on November 7 in the following villages and hamlets:
Villages: Yalımlı, Mahmutlu, Akçabudak, Ulucak, Örtülü, Saydamlı, Kılıçlı, Yorulmaz, Güldiken, Bayırlı, Baharlar, Üçdamlar, Erginköy, Yamaçlı, Yaprakköy, Kıralan, Dernek, Gürbeyli and Yünlüce.
Hamlets: Leyhosor, Tahtakülek, Ballıca, Mahmudan, Hevsel, Yeniyazı, Hij, Gözeli, Dergan, Alıçlıyayla, Buban, Vilu, Arpacık, Karadere, Sivritepe, Kilimli, Kaynaktaşı, Dokuzkat, Aliyan, Abdurrahmanağa, Gelberi, Eskiköy, Hegogozer, Semezi, Bilgin, Koçmarin, Yaka, Karaç, Kumımirza, Mehmedil, Sağlık, Körtan, Körha, Silkito, Hamzabey, Kayadibi, Baverda, Aşağıhodik, Konuklu, Yeşilburç, Sumaklı, Zıraht, Acımeşe, Muradiye, Mengusi, Puneyn, Çalıbükü, Kijikbadem, Kumluca, Perpank, Sıkas, Gucik and Yıldız.
The 192nd curfew in Diyarbakır
The Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV) Documentation Center has determined that curfew was declared for at least 332 times in 11 provinces and at least 50 districts from August 16, 2015 to October 1, 2018.

According to the report, at least 1 million 809 thousand people have been affected due to these curfews. The report has also shown that 190 curfews have been declared in Diyarbakır before. The last curfew declared yesterday has become the 192nd curfew in that regard.
