The Ministry of National Defense released a statement yesterday (May 27) and announced that infantry lieutenant Canbert Tatar has lost his life in an explosion that took place during a road control patrol in Syria's Idlib.

In a written statement released by the Ministry, it has been indicated that an explosion of unknown origin hit 250 meters south of search region.

Wounded in the explosion and taken to hospital, Canbert Tatar has lost his life despite all efforts, the Ministry has added further. (EKN/SD)
