A soldier has lost his life due to an attack by members of the Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H) in the city centre of Şırnak province.
The Turkish General Staff has announced in its statement that the soldier has been exposed to an armed attack while waiting in front of his house to go on his duty around 08.10 a.m. It has been noted that the soldier who had been severely injured could not be rescued despite all medical responses.
The statement did not include the name of the soldier.
In Silopi district of Şırnak province which is still under curfew, three politician women had been killed on Monday (December 4) evening. (NV/DG)
