Fifteen people, including children, who were stuck in a car were rescued by firefighters from the Rize Municipality in a separate incident.
The teams that were dispatched to the area have not yet been able to begin search and rescue and road cleaning efforts due to the road is closed and the risk of a flood. A 50-person team from various agencies are currently waiting in the area, the state-run AA reported. (SO/VK)
