It has come to light that 16-year-old Aydın Mete from whom no news had been received for four days, had been killed in Silopi district of Şırnak province which is still under curfew.
Dicle News Agency (DİHA) has reported that Aydın Mete had left his house in Şehit Harun Neighbourhood to go to his neighbour and since then no news had been received from him four for days.
According to the report, Mete’s family has come across the dead body of their son at the beginning of the street four days later. It has also been claimed, that Mete had been killed by special operation teams.
Corpses in mosque
It has been found out that Mete’s dead corpse could not be buried due to the attacks and therefore had been placed by the corpse of his cousin Mehmet Mete in the mosque who had also been killed on December 21 at the age of 10.
Yesterday (December 6), on the 24th day of the curfew, 12-year old Bişeng Goran had been killed as well in Cizre district of Şırnak.
According to the statements of human rights organizations, more than 61 children have lost their lives as of December 30, 2015 within all armed conflicts and curfews since the Suruç massacre on July 20 also including ones who could not be taken to hospital, were still in mother’s womb and not yet had the chance to come into the world or were direct targets of police forces.
