PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan met with his attorney Mazlum Dinç on İmralı Island yesterday.
Releasing a press statement outside Gemlik Gendarmerie Headquarters, Dinç delivered Öcalan’s message: “Regarding the attacks on ISIS, I am inviting not only Rojavans but all Kurds in the north [Turkey] and other regions, to adapt themselves to the conditions of this highly intense war”.
According to Firat News Agency (ANF), Dinç also expressed Öcalan’s willingness to take any steps for the resolution of Kurdish issue and his complaint on Turkish side’s unwillingness to start the negotiation process.
“The [Turkish] government has declared that it has been holding talks related to the release of ISIS hostage in Mosul, however it has inclined to take further steps on a deeper issue like the Kurdish problem.
“At the moment, there is a highly intense war in Kurdistan. Regarding the attacks on ISIS, I am inviting not only Rojavans but all Kurds in the north [Turkey] and other regions, to adapt themselves to the conditions of this highly intense war.” (ÇT/BM)
