Two children have been severely injured in Abdülkadir Paşa neighbourhood of Nusaybin district in Turkey's southeastern province of Mardin when an object they had been playing with exploded.
According to the report of Doğan News Agency (DHA), the two siblings, one at the age of 3 and the other at the age of 5 have been taken to Mardin State Hospital after first response in Nusaybin State Hospital.
Investigation has been launched regarding the explosion.
There were previous similar incidents
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP Aycan İrmez had brought the fact that the explosives in the regions under curfew had not all been defused yet and that two children had been injured on January 23, 2017 due to such explosives.
Recently on January 22, 2017, two children at the ages of 7 and 8 had lost their lives in a similar explosion in Şırnak. (YY/DG)
