Six organizations have supported the nutrition campaign launched by Rojava Association for areas under curfew.
Mordem Zervan from Life Activists has read the joint statement at Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) İstanbul Provincial building on behalf of Rojava Associations, Peoples’ Democratic Congress (HDK), HDP, Life Activists, Kongra Jınên Azad/Free Woman Congress (KJA), Eastern and Southeastern Associations Platform, Religious Scholars Association.
It was stated that people cannot meet their daily needs in districts of Cizre, Silopi, Dargeçit, Nusaybin, Sur where curfews and violence are being imposed.
Rojava Association representative, Neslihan Güner, reminded that they have been conducting a similar campaign for Kobanê for two years, and stated that it will be continuous.
Anyone willing to support the campaign may contact seven organizations in any city. The aids stored in cities will be sent to the main store in Diyarbakır at certain intervals and let the needy ones have them from there.
The aids will be supplied to people in neighborhoods under curfew when the curfews are lifted. The aids will also be supplied to those who had to leave their homes because of prohibitions and curfews. (BK/TK)
