On her Twitter account, scriptwriter Seray Şahiner has announced that she was dismissed from scriptwriting team of ATV’s new drama called Aşk ve Gurur (Love and Pride).
Another scriptwriter in the team, Yıldırım Türker resigned from his job, Şahiner added on her Twitter announcement.

Limon Production founder Hayri Aslan whom we reached by phone said he wouldn’t make any explanation.
Aslan stated that they as institution will issue a statement later.
What had happened?
A lawsuit was filed against Seray Şahiner upon Şahiner calling President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s son Bilal Erdoğan “genius” in her article published on BirGün daily on August 7, 2014.
İstanbul 2nd Criminal court of First Instance sentenced Şahiner to pay punitive fine of 2, 610 TL (800 euros).
Şahiner was detained by police storming in her hotel room where she stayed in Bursa province on December 11, 2016.
Şahiner was then released after paying her fine. On her Twitter account, Şahiner had written that two undercover police officers entered her hotel room by using keys at 4:45 a.m., and that the key was given to them by hotel management. (EKN/TK)
