25th Term 2nd Legislative Year of Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has started. The President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made the opening speech.
Kılıçdaroğlu, Yüksekdağ and Demirtaş didn’t attend
Republican People’s Party (CHP) Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu who is in Lyon, France right now, Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chairs Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş didn’t attend the opening ceremony.
Erdoğan didn’t accept the political responsibility
Erdoğan talked about general elections which were held on June 7, 2015:
“None of the political parties could come to power alone after June 7. It has happened for the first time in our history of democracy. We moved in accordance with our constitution even though a government couldn’t be formed.
“Nobody can escape from responsibility by bringing a charge against the presidency or other positions. Our nation is strong enough to overcome the difficulties."
November 1, re-elections…
“To properly reflect national will on ballot boxes is a matter of honor for all political parties inside and outside of the parliament. I hope all political parties have a humanistic and conscientious attitude in order to prevent the terrorism from threatening the elections,” Erdoğan said about the upcoming re-elections which will be carried out on November 1, 2015.
