Witnesses and suspects missing
Third party lawyer Ömer Kavili had demanded the identities and addresses of gendarmerie officers who had joined the operation, and found that out of 1614 people 682 could not be reached.
He also complains that the statements made by many gendarmes they claim not to have been involved in the operations.
After six years, it is still not clear who was heading the intervention, and according to the old law, the case would lapse after seven and a half years. (AÖ/EÜ/AG/EÜ)
