Missiles have been launched on province of Kilis and Reyhanlı, Hatay.
Doğan News Agency (DHA) reported that 11 people were injured by the six rockets launched on Kilis and Reyhanlı. According to state-run Anadolu Agency (AA), two missiles were launched each to Kilis and Reyhanlı, and the missile hitting Reyhanlı killed one person.
DHA and AA stated that the missiles were launched from Afrin by the “PYD/PKK (Democratic Union Party/Kurdistan Workers’ Party)”.
In the wake of the military operation launched by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and Free Syrian Army (FSA), five people lost their lives and at least 65 people were injured in the missile attacks carried out since January 21.
The missiles were fired on home, industrial zone, street
According to a report by the DHA, no one was injured by missiles hitting a garden of a home and the industrial zone.
A missile exploded on İslahiye Street in Kilis. One person was injured in the explosion near Adnan Menderes Park. Three people were wounded by a missile hitting a home on Dereboyu Street.
Anadolu Agency stated that one missile hit Ali Metin Dirimtekin Street and another one on empty area near Kilis State Hospital.
Eight people were wounded by three missiles launched on Reyhanlı. One of the wounded, Rıfat Sinirli (68) lost his life. The AA reported that two people were also wounded by two missiles launched.
A missile was launched on a restaurant in Kilis yesterday
One of two missiles launched one after another hit a historical restaurant on Cumhuriyet Street, and the other hit a home on Ortaokul Street and exploded yesterday (February 1).
Kilis Governor Mehmet Tekinarslan said that one person at home and four others in the restaurant were injured. (BK/TK)
