Minister of the Interior, Selami Altınok, made a press statement related to the curfew and clashes in Cizre district of Şırnak province in southeastern Turkey.
Altınok explained 69 party headquarters have been attacked and 30 apartments and 8 vehicles have been damaged since September 7.
We won't allow HDP delegation to enter Cizre
Minister Altınok:
"We are sensitive about the security of our citizens besides ministers and deputies of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP). We won't allow HDP delegation to enter Cizre since it may be provocative.
"We don't desire it but we have to practice curfew in Cizre. We want to abolish the curfew as soon as it's possible. returning to normal is our primary mission.
"Everbody in Turkey knows there is a curfew in Cizre. Security of Co-Chairs, ministers and deputies come first like the security of our citizens. (AB/ÇT/BD)
