Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak has stated that they’ve initiated a multidimensional economy diplomacy and signaled that they won’t fight the markets.
As reported by Hürriyet daily newspaper, interviewing to journalists in Argentina where he visited to attend G20 Meetings of Minister of Finance, Albayrak briefly said:
“We will not fight the markets, we will advance by win-win relations.
“We will ensure a palpable recovery in inflation. We will not make concessions in budget discipline.
“We are targeting an efficient Central Bank. Central Bank fictionalizes economic life correctly.
“Turkey will never be this appealing for foreign investors. We will prepare a strong, realistic program until September.
“Name of the Middle Term Program will change, we will have a strong, solid strategy of five years”.
