Taking off from Çiğli 2nd Main Jet Base Commandership for test flight in İzmir, a military training aircraft has crashed, killing two pilots.
According to agencies citing Turkish Armed Forces (TAF), contact with the SF-260D training aircraft taking off at 10:26 a.m. for test flight was lost at around 10:49 a.m.
TAF announced that the aircraft and bodies of the two pilots were found three kilometers north of the airport. (BK/TK)
