A minibus carrying refugees overturned while it was underway on Van-Erciş Highway in eastern Turkey. Two refugees have lost their lives in the incident, 31 people have been injured. After the authorities were informed, paramedics and gendarmerie teams have been referred to the scene.
As reported by the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), following the first medical aid, the wounded have been referred to the hospitals in the vicinity.
The state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) has reported that the accident happened when the vehicle went off the road in Tuşba, Van, which borders Iran. AA has reported the number of injured as 22 people.
Most recently, in an accident that happened on November 4, eight refugees lost their lives. (RT/SD)
