Paris Commercial Court has ruled that Med Nûçe TV, which was cut off by Eutelsat satellite company, resume its broadcasting.
The court ruling stated that the cut off authority belongs to Belgium’s authorized radio and television institution, not to Eutelsat, according to Fırat News Agency (ANF).
The court also sentenced Eutelsat to pay 5,000 euros fine.
The court yesterday (November 16) ruled that Newroz TV resume its broadcasting on the same ground.
What had happened?
Eutelsat had stopped broadcastings of Med Nûçe TV on October 3 and Newroz TV on October 11 upon request of Radio and Television Supreme Council.
In its ruling yesterday, the court had ruled Newroz TV resume its broadcasting. This ruling was expected to be a prejudication for Med Nûçe TV. (EA/TK)
