May 1 Labor Day has been celebrated in different cities across Turkey.

Adana

In Adana, on the occasion of May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day, a celebration program has been organized by the Confederation of Right Labor Unions (HAK-İŞ) at Uğur Mumcu Square. Chairperson of the confederation Mahmut Arslan has made a statement during the celebration.

The Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions (Memur-Sen) has celebrated the May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day at 15 Temmuz Milli İrade Square (July 15 National Will Square) in the district of İzmit in the industry and labor city of Kocaeli.

Muğla

In the province of Muğla, the celebrations of May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day have started after workers have gathered at Emirbeyazıt Neighborhood. Marching through the streets of Muğla by chanting slogans, the group has passed Atatürk Boulevard and reached Metropolitan Municipality Socio-Cultural area.
