According to data based on reports in local and national newspapers and news agencies, a compilation made by bianet revealed that male perpetrators left 22 women, 12 raped, 25 battered and 27 harassed in November 2013.
Overall in 2013, male perpetrators left 190 women dead, 160 raped, 195 battered and 150 harassed.
1 November

* In İzmir province, M.G. raped his brother’s wife Y.A. in her apartment after putting sleeping pills in her drink. Upon Y.A’s complaint, police detained and prosecutors launched an investigation against M.G. Later on, M.G. was released. While Y.A.’s sister Ö.G. (31) filed for divorce, Y.A.’s fiancee also broke their engagement.

* In Adana province, K.B. (16) assaulted his sister E.B. (19) with a knife. It turned out he committed his deed as she refused to go to a market to buy pack of cigarettes. While E.G was gravely injured, K.B. ran away. The police launched an investigation.
* In Kayseri province, O.K. assaulted his daughter’s boyfriend (22) with a bat. O.K also left the boyfriend’s father hospitalized.

* In Adana province, M.T. battered his wife E.T (20). It turned out that E.T married her husband through arrangement three years ago and became victim of domestic violence ever since. While she received a forensics-approved medical report documenting the abuse, police launched an investigation to capture M.T.

* In Ankara province, H.E. (52) murdered his divorce-seeking wife Dürdane Ergül (46) with a shotgun. Following the murder, H.E. had a failed suicide attend and got hospitalized. Previously, Dürdane Ergül filed a complaint against her violent husband and said that her life was in danger.

* In Aydın province, Y.T. (40) sexually harassed his relative N.T. (26). While N.T. filed a complaint, police launched an investigation to capture Y.T.

* In Kayseri province, İ.U. (43) murdered his ex-wife Leyla Berk (39) with a knife. Police captured the suspect.

* In Samsun province, R.A. battered his wife S.A. with a gun holder. Filed a complaint to the police, S.A. said his father-in-law İ.A. Police detained R.A. for battery and illegal weapon possession and İ.A. for sexual abuse. While a district court released R.A., İ.A. has been released within judiciary control measures.

* In Diyarbakır province, K.T. (40) murdered his 8.5 months pregnant sister-in-law Zeynep Taş by beating. It was claimed that Zeynep Taş hit her head to a wall and passed out after K.T.’s punches. While doctors saved her baby with caesarean operation, they couldn’t save Zeynep Taş. Detained by the police, the suspect was ordered to stand trial.

* In İstanbul province, Ö.K. (40) murdered his daughter Rojda (18) Dilen (20) and his religiously-wed wife Gülizar Özbir with a pistol. It turned out that an argument broke when Ö.K. attempted to move his lover to his apartment. Police captured Ö.K. who ran away after the incident.

* In Konya province, Ö.Ö. (26) sexually and verbally harassed Ü.Ö. (18) on the street. The family members and neighbors of the woman helped her as she ran away from Ö.Ö. Briefly after, police captured the suspect.
* In Samsun province, E.Ö. (32) sexually harassed D.A. (11) in a gym. A court arrested E.Ö.
* In İstanbul province, T.Y. (47) sexually harassment his neighbor next door B.A. It was claimed that T.Y has been opening curtains around midnight and flashed his hand tucked in his underwear. While this allegedly took for a year, Prosecutors charged T.Y. with sexual harassment. He is facing prison sentence from 3 months up to 2 years.
* In Aydın province, two minor students have allegedly been sexually abused prior to their placement to a shelter. Gendarmerie forces in Aydın and Nazilli districts raided the shelter, detained 10 suspects for forcing minors to prostitution. While 1 suspect ran away, gendarmerie resumed the search.

* In Trabzon province, N.Ö. (49) battered his ex-wife G.K. While G.K. complaint to the police, an investigation has been launched.
* In Kocaeli province, S.Z. battered his wife F.Z. While S.Z. has been hospitalized, police released F.Z. after his statement.

* In Ordu province, M.İ. (45) murdered his divorce-seeking wife Emine İnceyol (45) with a knife. While the incident took place in October, she was gravely injured and put into ICU ever since. A court arrested M.İ.
Rape
* In Bolu province, S.B. and A.Ç. raped a pedestrian woman in the woods after abducting her with a car. Police detained S.B. and A.Ç. who pleaded guilty. The suspects have been ordered to stand trial.
* In Antalya province, Y.İ.Z. (35) and A.R.K. (40) have been arrested for forcing two Kirghiz national women L.İ. (26) and M.M. (19) to prostitution. The women complaint that 4 men were involved in the case. While two suspects have been ordered to stand trial, police have launched an investigation to capture the other two suspects M.B. and H.M.
9 November

* In Sakarya province, it turned out that E.K. (43) forced his wife’s sister N.Ş. (16) to prostitution after two years of harassment history. Upon N.Ş.’s complaint, E.K and suspects Ş.B. H.A. S.Ş. A.D. Y.O. and B.A. have been detained. While a court arrested E.K., other suspects have been released pending a trial.

* In Hakkari province, 3 academicians İ.Y. H.Y. and R.Y. have allegedly forced their students to sexual intercourse by threatening them with grades. Police detained 3 academicians along with 11 other university administrative staff for starting a “crime organization for gain”, “sexual assault and abuse”, “corruption” and “prostitution”. While R.Y. and H.Y. have been bailed out for 40,000 and 30,000 liras respectively, İ.Y. has been arrested for forcing to prostitution.
* In Tekirdağ province, K.U. raped K.E., a physically and mentally disabled woman. It also turned out that she had been 3 month pregnant. Her family filed a complaint and a court arrested K.U.
11 November

* In Tekirdağ province, A.Y. (43) and his brother M.Y. (42) assaulted their sister K.Y. whom they haven’t met in a while. She suffered from wounds in the hand and belly. While K.Y. has been hospitalized, A.Y. and M.Y. ran away.
* In Zonguldak province, B.K. battered his wife E.K. While E.K. has been hospitalized, B.K. has been detained by the police upon E.K.’s complaint.
* In Erzurum province, F.S. battered his wife D.S. and then assaulted her with a knife. While D.S. has been hospitalized, police detained F.S.

* In İstanbul province, C.O. murdered Hamidin Oral, the violent husband of his sister. It turned out that Hamidin Oral previously assaulted his sister with a knife.

* In Kırıkkale province, A.B. (69) murdered his separated wife Metafet Bağoğlu (45) with a rifle. Following the incident, he committed suicide.

* In Antep province, İ.A., a school cafeteria worker, has been detained for sexually harassing 12 teenager girls between 13 and 15 years old.
* In İzmir province, police detained vice-principal N.S. (51) for sexually harassing 4th grade students M.B. and A.T. A court released N.S. despite a forensics institute report saying that M.B. and A.T. have been “psychologically affected”.
* In Trabzon province, police detained M.U. (82) for sexually harassing a woman. While M.U. has been released, an investigation is underway.

* In Ankara province, N.Z. (67) battered his wife Ç.Z. (51) with his walking stick. Prior to the incident, Ç.Z. filed a complaint to the police. A court issued a 15 day restraint order against N.Z who battered Ç.Z. again as “they would now be separated”. Ç.Z. filed a complaint again.
* In Aydın province, B.A. (31) assaulted his speech-impaired lover A.O. (25). B.A. has been ordered to stand trial for threat and premeditated assault.
* In Manisa province, an unidentified male broke into the apartment of S.T. (34) and battered her. The suspect ran away after being confronted with the woman’s pepper gas spray counterattack.

* In Samsun province, church pastor M.O.B. has been detained for sexually harassing H.G. (19) and forcing her to prostitution. Police also detained 7 suspects for their involvement in providing space for prostititon and sexual harassment. A court released the suspects within judiciary control measures.

* In Osmaniye province, B.K. (53), a local education ministry official, faced a prosecution for sexually harassing T.B. (33).

* In Samsun province, S.G. battered and threatened his wife F.G. Upon the woman’s complaint, police detained S.G.

* In Aydın province, B.G. and his brother M.G. has been detained for raping their niece A.G (18) and A.G. (25). The suspects have released pending a trial.
* In İzmir province, M.Y. (22) raped S.Ç. (14) after abducting her in his apartment and forcing her to drink alcohol and smoking pot. Medical authorities issued a report saying that S.Ç.’s psychology has been damaged. A court arrested M.Y. and drug dealer E.T. (18).

* In Adana province, A.B. murdered his wife Fatma Brimond with a knife in their apartment. Police is seeking the husband who allegedly killed his wife because of jealousy.

* In Kocaeli’nde H.O.T. (38) murdered his wife Hayriye Tan (33) with a rifle after initially beating and assaulting with a knife. Police detained H.O.T.
* In Malatya province, A.K., a harassment convict recently on parole, (45) assaulted the family of T.A. (36) with a shotgun. The incident left Murat Sarıkaya, Fadime Çalışkan and Temo Arayıcı killed.

* In Konya province, V.E. called his parents and told them that his religiously-wed husband and brother-in-law battered her. The woman’s brothers stormed the V.E.’s apartment, leaving 7 injured with rifles.

* In Adana province, K.P. (32) murdered his separated wife Sevtap Pala (25) with a knife. She was stabbed from her throat and back. After the incident, K.P. attempted to commit suicide with a pistol, however he has been hospitalized with critical condition.
* In Diyarbakır province, M.E.Ç (19) strangled his religiously-wed wife Songül Malkoç with a Palestinian scarf. After the incident, M.E.Ç. ran away. Police captured the suspect later on.
26 November

* In Balıkesir province, retired teacher C.E. (54) brutally murdered his wife Nurgül Engin (46) by initially battering her and then cutting her tongue and ear, and finally strangling her with a rope. After the incident, C.E. attempted to commit suicide in the bathroom. C.E.’s situation still remains clear.
* In Aydın province, B.C.G. (28) has been detained by the police for resulting in the death of his fiancee Gamze Uslu by pushing her out of a balcony. Eyewitnesses said that they saw two people arguing in the balcony while B.C.G. claimed that he was in the bathroom at the time of the incident. He claimed that she had been raped at the time of the incident. “We started arguing, and then she committed suicide,” he said.
