Most demands of the molding workers were accepted and the industrial action entered by the local and Syrian migrant workers ended successfully on the fourth day in Antep.
The low level of wage rise and the request by the employees that the workload should be increased by 10 percent resulted in the molding workers of the Küsget industrial site in Antep stopping work on January 1.
The work stoppage ended on Thursday (January 5) on its fourth day as a result of the meetings held between the representatives of the workers and the employers.
The employers declined to request a 10 percent increase in the workload while 3000 lira of wage increase was granted instead of the 4000 requested by the workers. Another decision by the employers, that the workers working for one employer will not be employed by another was also changed.
The workers will go back to work on Monday. (PE)
