During the voting process of İstanbul Metropolitan Mayoral election rerun that was held today (June 23), a legal and administrative action was taken against 111 people across İstanbul.
As reported by the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA), while the ones, against whom an administrative action was taken, have been released after deposing, the ones, against whom a legal action was taken, were still detained as of 4.57 p.m. today.

43 people took pictures
The ones, against whom a legal and administrative action was taken at the ballot box, were as follows:
- Taking the picture of voting papers: 43 people
- Causing arguments and debates: 22 people
- Casting votes together: 9 people
- Voting in place of someone else: 3 people
- Violating the law on firearms: 4 people
- Threatening and insulting: 4 people
- Entering the voting booth with phone: 14 people
- Revealing his/her vote: 5 people
- General violations such as wearing clothes with political connotations, drinking alcohol and chanting slogans at the ballot box: 7 people
When will the early results be announced?
All news, forecasts and comments pertaining to elections are forbidden to be published or broadcast by media outlets until 6 p.m. From 6 and 9 p.m., the outlets in question are solely allowed to broadcast or publish the news and statement to be released by the Supreme Election Council.
After the electoral restrictions come to an end, the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) and ANKA Agency will start announcing the early election results. The CHP has also announced that it will also share the results by collecting the minutes of ballot boxes through a system that it established itself. (TP/SD)
