Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir MP Ertuğrul Kürkçü has said “We’ve always maintained the same stance against such actions, which restrict and obstruct political struggle, demoralize people” about TAK’s bomb attack in Diyarbakır.
11 people including two police officers had lost their lives in the bomb attack launched near outbuilding of Anti-Terror and Riot Squad branch directorates in Diyarbakır’s Bağlar district on November 4.
First Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), then Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK) claimed the responsibility for the attack.
"I see these actions as a sort of vengefulness"
“No word can justify a blind violence targeting our deputies, co-chairs, executives and civilians. No liberty movement can gloss over falling on the same line with ISIS, infringing right to live with a mere apology”, Kürkçü tweeted on November 6.
“We had made statements with [HDP Ankara MP] Sırrı Süreyya Önder against TAK’s such actions. We’ve always maintained the same stance against such actions, which restrict and impede political struggle, demoralize people.
“I don’t see these actions, which are lacking politics, as actions that promote and increase liberty fight no matter what their objective intentions are. I see these as a blind violence, a sort of vengefulness. The struggle in general is a part of insurgency but I don’t see these actions like that”.
