According to Fırat News Agency, the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK) assumed the responsibility for the suicide bombing in Mersin and the bomb attack in Izmir two days later, with 1 dead and 29 injured.
In the suicide bombing that took place at Gözne exit of Adana-Mesin Highway on August 19, 13 police officers were injured and the driver of the vehicle who carried the bomb was killed.
According to Fırat News Agency, which based its report on the information gathered from the internet site of teyrenkurdistan.com, the perpetrator who blew up the bombs on him was Müslüm Güneyşoğlu, who was born in Siverek in 1980 and had the code name Kemal.
Three soldiers and six civilians were injured
In the Izmir bomb attack on August 21, which was done by blowing up a car while two service buses belonging to the security forces were passing, seven police officers, three soldiers and three civilians were injured.
