Peace and Democracy Party deputies Selahattin Demirtaş, Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder set off to Imrali this morning to meet PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan in his solitary confinement.
The delegation is expected to make a statement on their way back at 4:30pm, party officials said.
According to Hurriyet newspaper, Öcalan is expected to reply the letters submitted to him through the February 23 delegation, which included deputies Pervin Buldan, Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Altan Tan.
The newspaper claimed that Öcalan would submit to the delegation a new "roadmap" regarding a cessation of clashes between Turkish Army and PKK guerrilla, as well as the relocation of remaining PKK militia in Turkey.
Öcalan's declaration is expected to be announced on March 21. (EKN/BM)
